Great Canadian Kilt Skate -- Ottawa

Location: Lansdowne Park Skating Court, near the Aberdeen Pavilion

Join us for Ottawa’s 9th Annual Great Canadian Kilt Skate.

You don’t need a kilt. You don’t need to be Scottish. Bring your your inner Scot by wearing a bit of Canada’s favourite colour: tartan!

The first-ever Great Canadian Kilt Skate was held in Ottawa in 2015. Not only does the tradition remain in Ottawa, it has spread across Canada and beyond.

Last year, Ottawa was named the Kilt Skate Capital of Canada. Help us defend our title in 2023.

And while waiting for the February 19 event at Lansdowne, why not participate in the “Home Edition, where you skate anywhere you like: your community rink, the river you can skate away on, the backyard pond, the Rideau Canal Skateway — anywhere!
