Third Annual Great Canadian Kilted Skate

Location: Officers’ Square Provincial Heritage Place

In collaboration with the Fredericton Society of St. Andrew, the Fredericton Region Museum will host the Kilt Skate — an evocative blend of Scottish heritage and fun winter activity. Skaters are encouraged to don kilts, enjoy live bagpipes, and skate together in community spirit.

Afterwards, visitors are invited inside the Museum to warm up with traditional haggis served as haggis burgers, shortbread cookies, and hot chocolate — a cozy and approachable way to experience classic Scottish flavors. Guests can also take time to explore the Museum’s exhibits, offering a deeper look into local and Scottish heritage.
